Grandma and Grandpa Dillard Update!
Good News! Grandpa had his last chemo treatment a few weeks ago. He's still tired and weak, but Gina says he doing really well, considering. His appetite is good (he's regained ten pounds he had lost), he's drinking lots of water and taking vitamins. His hair is growing back in not -- not only gray, but his original black color. He's also decided to grow a beard because he's tired of shaving, and because he's always wanted to grow one. He'll have a PET scan the Monday after Thanksgiving to see how well the chemo has worked, so keep him in your prayers. He and Grandma are going to Mexico with Jeff and Gina for Thanksgiving, and possibly for Christmas. Isn't that good news, too?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Jenn was kind enough to share her pictures once again! From what I heard, it sounds like it was a great Thanksgiving with delicous food! We sad we had to miss it. Enjoy the pics!

Happy Halloween Everybody!
Jeremy was going to do the commentary on here, but has been to busy I guess!! So sorry it has taken us over a month to get words to go along with the pics!
David and Lily were kind enough to host a Halloween/David's Birthday party! It was a blast! The food was divine thanks to Lily's Mom, the trick or treating was successful and the costumes were so much fun!!

Baylee's Baptism
We are so proud of Baylee for her decision to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized. She is all dressed in white to symbolize that when you are baptized you are made clean through the forgiveness of Christ. It was so fun to be with Baylee on the special day of her life.

Another Story From Missouri
One cold winter day, when Grandma Dillard was about 5 years old, her dad, our Grandpa Dewey Smith, brought home a bootlegger (an alcohol smuggler). The drunken neighbor staggered into the kitchen and when Nanny saw him, she said, "don't you EVER come in that gate again!" Then she "chewed out" grandpa and said, "if I EVER catch him here again, I'll shoot him!"
-
Grandma Dillard told this incident to Darla and Jennifer while they were in Missouri, and they all laughed. Knowing Nanny, I think she WOULD have shot him to keep him away from her family!
