Welcome To The Family Canyon Rogers!

This post is super delayed, but we are so excited that John and Tammy have welcomed Canyon into their family! The following info is what John sent me;

Canyon was born on Thursday June 11th at 10:27pm. He was 7 lbs. 12oz. and was 19 inches long. He likes biking, jogging, music, nap time, and food time. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize as result of his contributions to world peace and to the theory of relative hip cat coolness. The attached photos are under copyright and should not be used for media promotion under penalty of law in 21 states.

Nate's Spotlight!

My job : I work in the parts department for AG Truck Equipment. My job is to make sure all 14 mechanics have the parts they need to complete a build or repaired piece of equipment. I also sell parts to construction outifts , municipalities,waste companies and contractors. We also work on street sweepers,vactor sewer trucks, garbage trucks, cranes and service bodies, Airport sweepers and snow blowers.

Interests and Hobbies: I have always wanted to get back to training in mixed martial arts. I like to bike, hike, go camping, and shoot guns.

Family might not know: I'm actually six feet tall and enjoy long walks on the beach.

Baylee's Baptism!

A few of us were lucky enough to be able to go to see Baylee baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 13th! We are so proud of Baylee! What a wonderful example she is.

Jeremy was able to baptize her, and Paul was able to confirm her the next day in her ward's Sacrament meeting.

Lily's Car Accident

David emailed: Attached are pictures of Lily's car from her accident on June 10th. The insurance company declared it a total loss. Just having fun going through all of the paperwork. Lily is going to need PT and is required to take a week off of work. She taking medicine to work through the muscle spasms and headaches. It's going to be a long process but we are very blessed that it wasn't more serious.

June Birthday Spotlights!!

I love being a mom and feel very blessed to stay at home with my kiddos. So, an average day would be waking up and running either by myself or with my neighbor which I love to do. Next, I get ready and get the kiddos ready. I have everyone do their chores, myself included and then we get to play or go somewhere:). Summer is coming so that will mean lots of fun new adventures like hiking new spots, camping and finding new swimming holes. At the end of the day we put the kids to bed and have a couple hours before we go to bed too.

My interests and hobbies are learning more about parenting, running, and learning how to homestead/live off of the land. I also love getting together with my brothers and sister.

There is probably a lot that everyone doesn't know about me because I have not been very good at keeping in touch but that I love you guys and wish we could see each other more. But here's one: I used to draw and write poetry.

Favorite Things To Do: Boston loves just about everything, especially if it is outside!! He loves playing with cars, trains, planes, and Puzzles! He enjoys all sports, but seems to have a special passion for Basketball. He loves going to the library and reading lots and lots of books. He also enjoys drawing, and playing on the computer.

Things he has learned: Boston amazes me with his ability to quickley learn new things. He can recognize all of his letters, he knows all of his shapes and colors, and can count to 13. He also has a huge vocabulary for his age. Boston also loves to sing. He knows the ABC song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, I Love To See The Temple, I am A Child of God, Wheels on the Bus, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and more!

Favorite Shows: He loves watching Super Why, Little Einsteins, and his favorite movies CARS!
